How to Fix Error 5100 Service or Canon IP2770 Printer, Error 5100 happened to Canon IP2770 printer is usually caused because they are not detected by the Printer Cartridge. So the message Error 5100 We are told that the printer can not find its cartridges. Well, a few tips to resolve error 5100 I'll try to describe in this post, and this trick has often I practice.

Steps to Fix Error 5100 Printer Canon IP2770:

     Turn off the printer
     Remove both cartridges from the printer
     Use a cloth moistened with alcohol to clean the surface of the contact / terminal connectors are touching the printer Cartridge / could also use a pencil eraser
     Replace the Cartridge
     Turn on the printer.

    Hey there, my office team was also facing such issue. then they followed below steps:
    1- Check your paper jam.
    2- Did you put in the print properly.
    3- An ink tank(s) is not seated properly
    4- The printer must be reset
    5- The encoder film/strip might have to be clean
